Holiday Greetings!

In looking back over this last year, Joe and I feel so blessed to have so many of our family near. It's fun!! And, it was great to be able to get together with some of the ones who don't live close, too. Well, here's a look at what we all have been doing.

Joe's job as director of the Economic Development Center gave him the opportunity to work with the fairgrounds at Coeur d' laine, Idaho on building an events center. On one of his trips up there, I went along and we made a little vacation out of it.

Joe's favorite thing to do though is to be with the family. Mine too. I was able to spend a week with Jana when Dallin joined the family. Jana and Ryan are living in a beautiful country home outside of Rexburg, Idaho where Ryan teaches economics at BYU-Idaho.

Grant is back in Pullman getting a degree in education and would like to teach third or fourth grade. He sees alot of gorgeous Palouse country on his bike rides. Our dog, Aldo, loves the walks Grant takes him on.

It has been the best to have Joe and Allison living in Pullman. It's so fun when they come over. Joe's work as Corporate Council and Director of Business Development for a small engineering firm has taken him to China twice, Taiwan, Romania, Albania and Hawaii. They are expecting baby #6 in a couple of weeks. We are excited it's a girl!

We had a great trip the first of August. Joe and I picked up Derek in Meridian, Idaho (he and Aubree both work there now) and drove to Rexburg for Lindsey's baptism. Joe, Allison, Jeff and the rest of the kids met us there. What a great visit we all had! Saying goodbye was hard!

It's great to have Derek and Aubree closer. And with Aubree's family in the area, we get to see her when she comes to visit them.

A big change for us was when Julie decided to move to the west side. She is living north of Seattle in Lynnwood. She loves her dental assisting job and the new digital piano she recently bought. We miss her!

Darren is still living in Odessa, Texas running the shop for Southwestern Machine Company. Life got a bit more exciting when he bought a drum set and the man he bought it from told him he had a friend that was looking for a drummer for his band. Darren is now a member of the Cody Hughes Davidson Band and loving it.

Darren loves the Texas sunsets...

Jeff turned 17! Being a Senior has meant fun dances, college plans (WSU) and a senior project and paper. His project has been to job shadow the dentist Angela works for and his paper is on how to write a business plan. He also started banjo lessons, loves to spend time with his nephews and niece and plans on playing tennis in the spring.

Angela is still working as a dental assistant. She has had some fun trips to Seattle to see Julie and to Las Vegas for the annual dental convention. She and Jeff have some pretty good times together though she sure misses Julie..... (That is Sylvester Stallone's handprint!)

Well, there's a look at our family in 2007. Know we are sending warm thoughts your way for a Merry Christmas and a Happiest New Year!

Thanks for the great catch-up letter. Even though we just live across town, we need to hear the news. Love, Judy
